Dr. Matthew Wilken
CCC-A

Dr. Matthew Wilken, CCC-A received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. He earned his Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Wilken has been practicing Audiology since 1998. Matt lives in Golden. He enjoys spending time with his children, playing golf and reading.



Dr. Jeffrey Wilken
CCC-A

Dr. Jeffrey Wilken CCC-A earned his bachelors degree from the University of Northern Colorado, his Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Wyoming and his Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Wilken rotates between all of the offices. He has been an Audiologist since 1996. He currently resides in Highlands Ranch with his wife Ruth, and their two children.



Dr. John Curran
CCC-A

Dr. John Curran earned his bachelors degree from the University of Redlands. He then graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters degree in Audiology. He has since earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. John has a fun and witty personality which his patients enjoy. Dr. Curran lives in Golden with his wife Nancy and their children. When not helping people hear better, John enjoys skiing, tennis, golf and hiking.



Dr. Robert Gardner
Audiologist

Dr. Robert Gardner received his Doctor of Audiology from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he conducted research in one of the nation’s leading hearing aid research laboratories. Following his studies, Robert completed a clinical fellowship in New Zealand. An avid outdoors enthusiast, Robert lives with his wife and daughters in Westminster, where he enjoys the scenery when not caring for patients.



Dr. Elizabeth Kehrwald
Audiologist

Dr. Elizabeth Kehrwald graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her doctorate in Audiology. Dr. Kehrwald is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), as well as licensed in the State of Colorado. Elizabeth has a vast knowledge in diagnostic testing and fitting digital hearing aids. She is committed to excellent patient care and helping people improve their lives through better hearing



Jamie Taylor Bianco
Audiologist

Jamie is a provider in our Cherry Creek location. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been practicing audiology since 2001 and has vast experience in diagnostic testing and fitting the latest in digital hearing aid technology. Jamie has worked in ear, nose, and throat practices and has also been a manufacturer's representative for Phonak. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and walking her dog.



George Modreck
Audiologist

George earned his Bachelors in Communication Disorders and his Master's degree in Audiology from The Ohio State University. He also holds an M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh. George worked in educational and pediatric Audiology for a number of years. He is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). He has also been a manufacturer's representative for Unitron, Widex and Phonak hearing systems. George has an extensive knowledge of digital hearing aids and is an expert at all types of hearing aid fittings.



Dr. Jerilyn Dutton
Audiologist

Dr. Jerilyn Dutton sees patients in our Northglenn location. She is fully licensed by the state of Colorado to provide comprehensive audiological services. Dr. Dutton earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Doctorate in Audiology from the joint program of San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego. She has experience fitting the latest in digital amplification technology and assistive listening devices. In her free time, Dr. Dutton enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling with her family.



Dr. Christine Russell
Audiologist

Dr. Christine Russell earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at the University of Colorado, Boulder and her Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado. She is a licensed audiologist with the state of Colorado. She has extensive knowledge of digital hearing aids as well as experience working with all age groups. She has worked with cochlear implants and performed balance testing and treatment, but has a passion for working with patients with hearing aids. She strives to improve each and every patient's life through better hearing.



Nonean Price
Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist

Nonean became involved in the hearing healthcare profession in 1983 and has been Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences since 1992. Nonean sees patients in our Lakewood location. She has served 3 terms as President of the Colorado Hearing Society, has been a Governor as well as Treasurer of the International Hearing Society, and has served as Chair of the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Most of her years dispensing hearing instruments have been spent in the Lakewood and Wheat Ridge area. She has vast experience in hearing technology and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care.



Nathan Gilchrist
Audiologist

Nathan Gilchrist, M.S., CCC-A grew up in Littleton and graduated from Heritage High School. He has extensive experience performing diagnostic audiological procedures and is an expert at custom digital hearing aid fittings. Nathan graduated from the University of Arizona with his Masters degree in Audiology. Nathan works in the Littleton location. He enjoys playing golf, fishing and other outdoor activities.



Dr. Donna Malsam
Audiologist

Donna works in our Parker location. She earned her Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and Speech Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder, her Masters degree in Audiology from Wichita State University, and her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Malsam has been an audiologist since 1991. She lives in Parker and loves to spend time with her husband, two children and two dogs.



Dr. Jamie Gilgren
Audiologist

Jamie Gilgren, Au.D, sees patients in the Longmont location. She is a board certified audiologist. Dr. Gilgren earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, a Master's degree with an emphasis in aural rehabilitation from the University of Texas at Austin, and two Bachelor's degrees in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Gilgren has been fitting hearing aids since 2002. She has extensive experience fitting and programming today's latest hearing aid technology, FM systems, and assistive listening devices. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, movies, hiking, and camping with her family.



Kathy Houtchens
Audiologist

Kathy works in the Loveland location. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado. Kathy has worked with all ages of patients and has vast experience in diagnostic testing. Her specialty is in fitting digital hearing aids. Kathy is married with 2 children and 3 stepchildren. When not working, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family.



Dr. Leah Mitchell
Audiologist

Dr. Leah Mitchell earned her bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, masters degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and Doctorate of Audiology from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry. She has been practicing Audiology in Colorado since 2003. Dr. Mitchell is the audiologist in our Northglenn location. She lives in Thornton with her husband, daughter, and chocolate lab, Houser. Activities she enjoys include music, camping, cooking, biking, and throwing the frisbee for her dog.



Meredith David
Audiologist

Meredith attended the University of Georgia, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1999 and a Master’s Degree in Audiology in 2001. She relocated to Colorado in 2001 and has lived here ever since. Meredith is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Audiology program at the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona and is expected to graduate with her Au.D. in March of 2013. Meredith feels passionate about helping people improve their lives through better hearing and loves seeing the difference better hearing can make. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, baking, watching college football, and being outdoors.



Dr. Emily Wakefield
Audiologist

Dr. Emily Wakefield graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her doctorate in Audiology. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Colorado. Emily is board certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA), certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is committed to being well-informed on the most current hearing aid technologies. Dr. Wakefield is passionate about helping to improve people's ability to hear, and she diligently strives to provide the highest quality of patient care.



Dr. Brock Sturlaugson
Audiologist

Brock earned his Bachelor's of Science degree at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, where he graduated Cum Laude. He comes to Hearing Rehab Center from Salt Lake City, UT, where he attended the University of Utah for his graduate training. He is trained to provide diagnostic hearing evaluations, prevention of hearing loss, and rehabilitation services for auditory problems. Brock enjoys the plethora of outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer. In his free time Brock enjoys playing hockey, hiking, golf and spending time with his wife and two dogs.



Dr. Jackie Tobin
Audiologist

Dr. Jackie Tobin earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and received her Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and is a licensed audiologist in the State of Colorado. Jackie's prior clinical experiences working with Ear, Nose and Throat physicians have provided her a solid foundation in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Her extensive knowledge of digital hearing aids combined with a commitment to providing excellent patient care allows Jackie to improve the quality of life for each and every patient through better hearing.



Dr. Abbye Callender
Audiologist

Dr. Abbye Callender received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. After her training, she spent seven years in Las Cruces New Mexico helping people achieve a more robust quality of life through better hearing. She enjoys being active in her community speaking and hosting hearing healthcare seminars focusing on the lifelong impact of hearing loss. Dr. Callender is an active member of Rotary International where she focuses her attention on improving community service for her patients and the community she serves. She is excited to make a positive impact in her new community. When not seeing patients, Abbye enjoys the beautiful outdoors in her new home in Colorado Springs where she happily resides with her husband and three rescue animals.




Dr. Ryan Crawford
Audiologist

Dr. Ryan Crawford received his Doctor of Audiology from Missouri State University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Utah State University. Ryan has an extensive knowledge of current hearing aid technology and the fitting expertise for those technologies available from many of the top hearing aid manufacturers. When not working with patients and helping them to improve their hearing health care, Ryan spends the majority of his free time cycling, backpacking and enjoying the company of his wife and their five sons.

Dr. Cory Tickle
Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Cory Tickle earned both his bachelor's degree and doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. Cory is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (AHSA) and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). He is originally from Nashville, TN where he completed a residency at the Veteran's Hospital through the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) in 2010. Through this residency, he gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience with the latest digital products for multiple manufacturers. In his free time, Cory enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds.

Dr. Thea Wickey sees patients in our Northglenn office. She earned both her Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Language Sciences and her Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado. Thea is board certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA), certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Passionate about helping others hear well with the continuing advancements in technology, Thea is committed to providing the highest quality patient care and continually striving to improve as an Audiologist. In her free time Thea enjoys running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

 




Dr. Marc Bennett
Audiologist

Marc Bennett, Au.D, sees patients in our Englewood office. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders in 2007 and Doctor of Audiology degree in 2011 from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Bennett is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and is a licensed audiologist in the State of Colorado. Prior to joining Hearing Rehab Center, Dr. Bennett worked at Physician’s Hearing Center in Huntsville, AL. Being a lifelong hearing aid user, he draws from personal experience to provide the highest level of care for his patients. In his free time, he likes to read, run, play outdoors, and watch/attend SEC college football games. Dr. Bennett is committed to bettering peoples’ lives through better hearing.
