Dr. Matthew Wilken, CCC-A received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. He earned his Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Wilken has been practicing Audiology since 1998. He lives in Golden with his wife and three children. In his spare time he enjoys reading and playing golf. Dr. Wilken rotates between all of the offices.
Dr. Jeffrey Wiken CCC-A
Dr. Jeffrey Wilken CCC-A earned his bachelors degree from the University of Northern Colorado, his Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Wyoming and his Doctorate of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Wilken rotates between all of the offices. He has been an Audiologist since 1996. He currently resides in Highlands Ranch with his wife Ruth, and their two children.
Nathan Putnam M.S., CCC-A
Nathan Putnam, M.S., CCC-A works in our Fort Collins office. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree and his Master of Science Audiology degree from the University of Wyoming. In the past he has worked for Colorado State University and at a private practice in Cheyenne before joining the Hearing Rehab Center. Nathan lives in Fort Collins with his wife and two children. He was born in Montana and enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and fly-fishing.
Dr. John Curran CCC-A
Dr. John Curran earned his bachelors degree from the University of Redlands. He then graduated from Arizona State University with a Masters degree in Audiology. He has since earned his Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. John has a fun and witty personality which his patients enjoy. Dr. Curran lives in Golden with his wife Nancy and their son Evan. When not helping people hear better, John enjoys skiing, tennis, golf and hiking.
Nathan Gilchrist M.S., CCC-A
Nathan Gilchrist, M.S., CCC-A grew up in Littleton and graduated from Heritage High School. He has extensive experience performing diagnostic audiological procedures and is an expert at custom digital hearing aid fittings. Nathan graduated from the University of Arizona with his Masters degree in Audiology. Nathan works in the Englewood location. He enjoys playing golf, fishing and other outdoor activities.
Meredith Workman M.A., CCC-A
Meredith Workman, M.Ed., CCC-A, FAAA Works in our Summit County office. She received her Masters degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia in 2001. Shortly after, she relocated to Colorado. Meredith holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology. She has an extensive knowledge of digital hearing aids and has vast experience with diagnostic testing. Meredith enjoys fly-fishing, camping, cooking and running in her free time.
Kathryn Houtchens M.A., CCC-A
Kathy works in the Loveland and Fort Collins locations. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Audiology at the University of Northern Colorado. Kathy has worked with all ages of patients and has vast experience in diagnostic testing. Her specialty is in fitting digital hearing aids. Kathy is married with 2 children and 3 stepchildren. When not working, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family.
George Modreck M.A., CCC-A, F-AAA
George is our Audiologist in Aurora/Denver. He earned his Bachelors in Communication Disorders and his Master’s degree in Audiology from The Ohio State University. He also holds an M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh. George worked in educational and pediatric Audiology for a number of years. He has also been a manufacturer’s representative for Unitron, Widex and Phonak hearing systems. George has an extensive knowledge on digital hearing aids. He lives with his family in the Aurora area.
Dr. Paul Asprelli CCC-A, F-AAA
Paul Asprelli works in our Lakewood office. He earned his Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Doctorate from the University of Florida. As an ASHA certified Audiologist, he is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Asprelli has been dispensing hearing aids for over 30 years and was in private practice in Lakewood for 17 years before joining Hearing Rehabilitation Center in 2002. Paul has two daughters and resides in Wheat Ridge with his wife, Jane.
Meghan Safko M.A., F-AAA
Meghan Safko, MA, F-AAA, works in our Arvada office. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and her Master of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a Fellow with the American Academy of Audiology. Meghan specializes in diagnostic audiology and digital hearing aid programming. She lives in Broomfield with her husband and their black lab. In her free time, Meghan enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling.
Jerry Brungardt BC-HIS
Jerry is based out of the Northglenn/Thornton office and is also in charge of the In-Home Service division. In 2002 he became Nationally Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences. Jerry has more than 35 years experience in customer service. He is a columnist for The Prime Time For Seniors Newspaper and is the Vice President of the Colorado Hearing Society. Jerry lives in Frederick with his wife Sandi. He takes great delight in his family and is an avid do-it-yourselfer.
Lori McCumiskey M.A., CCC-A
Lori works in our Park Meadows, location. She earned her Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado and is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Lori has a wide variety of Audiological experience. She has worked as a clinical Audiologist doing hearing and balance testing, pediatric hearing evaluations and Cochlear Implant programming. Her specialty is in digital hearing aid fittings. Lori enjoys hiking, snowboarding and reading.
Dr. Kristi Reed CCC-A
Kristi works in our Littleton office. She earned her Master's degree in Audiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and she earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She has over 12 years of experience helping people with their hearing needs. She loves spending time with her husband and 3 children. They travel, hike, ski and watch Star Trek together.
Dr. Leah Mitchell CCC-A
Dr. Leah Mitchell earned her bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, masters degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and Doctorate of Audiology from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry. She has been practicing Audiology in Colorado since 2003. She lives in Thornton with her husband and chocolate lab, Houser. Activities she enjoys includes music, camping, cooking, biking, and throwing the frisbee for her dog.
Dr. Donna Malsam CCC-A, F-AAA
Donna works in our Lone Tree location. She earned her Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders and Speech Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder, her Masters degree in Audiology from Wichita State University, and her Doctorate in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Malsam has been an audiologist since 1991. She lives in Parker and loves to spend time with her husband, two children and two dogs.
Chip Plum BC-HIS
Chips works in the Lakewood office as a Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist. Chip has been fitting Hearing Instruments for more than twenty years, first becoming Board Certified in 1993. He is a member of the International Hearing Society. Chip lives in Littleton with his wife, Barb.
Dr. Jamie Gilgren ABA
Jamie Gilgren, Au.D, sees patients in the Longmont location. Dr. Gilgren earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, a Master’s degree with an emphasis in aural rehabilitation from the University of Texas at Austin, and two Bachelor's degrees in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Gilgren has been fitting hearing aids since 2002. She has extensive experience fitting and programming today's latest hearing aid technology, FM systems, and assistive listening devices. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, movies, hiking, and camping with her family.
